MADE arhitekti is an architecture office based in Riga, Latvia, founded by Miķelis Putrāms and Linda Krūmiņa in 2007.
We do architecture to open new possibilities for our clients, to simplify sophisticated tasks and to give precise answers to specific needs. We believe in innovation that eases our lives, we trust in healthy materials and sometimes having less means gaining more.
We work with inventive and rational concepts that come from project’s context and particular issues, engaging passionately in projects with complex tasks — educational buildings, culture public institutions, housing and urban developments. We enter carefully selected competitions and have gained success locally and internationally. Our proposals were honorably mentioned and prized in Latvia, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Slovenia.
We constantly build our competence on our realized projects. Our effort is directed to development of sustainable and healthy timber buildings. With every new project we challenge ourselves and our team experts to look at the solutions that not only make better buildings but strive to make a new effective standard for construction industry.

Miķelis Putrāms, born 1980, Riga, LV
Studied at Riga Technical university Faculty of Architecture. Professional experience gained working at B.I.G. (DK), PLOT (DK), AB3D (LV), MG arhitekti (LV). Participated in numerous architectural workshops and competitions in Latvia and abroad. Lecturing in Latvia and abroad about sustainable building systems and technologies. Member of Latvian Association of Architects.
Linda Krūmiņa, born 1979, Kuldiga, LV
Studied at Riga Technical university Faculty of Architecture, Royal Danish academy of Arts school of Architecture. Studied social anthropology at Riga Stradins university. Studied at Parsons school of Design Healthier Materials and Sustainable Building. Professional experience gained working at Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter (DK), Henning Larsens Tegnestue (DK), Design Group (DK), Arhitektonika (LV), AKA birojs (LV). Participated in numerous architectural workshops and competitions in Latvia and abroad. Teached at Faculty of Architecture and Design in RISEBA. Member of Latvian Association of Architects. Member of Ethics commission of Latvian Association of Architects.
